ABPM systems with tubing are the traditional and proven solution for 24-hour ambulatory blood pressure monitoring. In this system, the electronic recorder worn on the belt is connected to the pneumatic cuff on the arm via a tube. This design has been clinically proven over several decades and remains the gold standard for many cardiologists and general practitioners.
Clinical reliability and measurement accuracy
ABPM with tubing is based on the oscillometric method validated in accordance with EN ISO 81060-2 standards. Our devices are CE-marked for medical use and have received clinical validation from the leading hypertension societies. Programming is flexible: measurement intervals from 15 to 60 minutes depending on the daytime or night-time phase, number of consecutive measurements, and alarm thresholds. The data is analysed via software, which calculates daytime, night-time and 24-hour averages.
An economical and reliable choice for the practice
The ABPM system with tubing has a lower purchase price than models without tubing, whilst offering comparable measurement performance. The tubing is the only consumable component that needs to be monitored and replaced regularly. These devices are ideal for practices wishing to offer ABPM to their patients at a controlled cost, whilst benefiting from clinically validated and recognised technology.
