Digital ECG with Integrated Screen – Real-Time Monitoring

Digital electrocardiographs with integrated screens combine the advantages of digital technology with immediate viewing of the trace before printing. The colour or LCD screen displays all 12 leads in real time, allowing the clinician to check signal quality and detect and correct placement artefacts before printing.

Integrated quality control for usable tracings

The real-time display is a major asset in reducing the number of uninterpretable ECGs caused by poor electrode positioning or motion artefacts. The clinician can instantly assess the quality of each lead and may ask the patient to relax or reposition an electrode before the final recording. A valuable time-saver in a busy cardiology practice.

Automatic analysis and digital archiving

Like all our digital ECGs, these models with a screen feature an automatic heart rhythm analysis programme. The internal memory stores the tracings for comparison during subsequent consultations. USB or network connectivity facilitates export to the medical record. The screen also displays automatic measurements – heart rate, PR and QT intervals – for quick and structured reading at every cardiology consultation, depending on the model, notably Edan, Schiller or Spengler.
