Wheeled stands for blood pressure monitors are mobile supports that allow you to easily move your blood pressure monitor from one examination room to another or bring it to the patient’s bedside. Ergonomic and robust, they offer real added value in multi-room practices or hospital wards where the blood pressure monitor needs to be shared between several healthcare professionals.
Ergonomics and ease of movement
A well-designed blood pressure monitor stand on castors moves quietly and smoothly across standard medical flooring (tiles, parquet, carpet). Swivel castors allow for effortless changes of direction, whilst brakes fitted to at least two castors ensure the device remains perfectly stationary during measurement. The adjustable height of the platform allows the position of the device to be adapted to the healthcare professional’s build, reducing postural fatigue during consultations.
Compatibility and maximum load
Our medical castor stands are designed to accommodate professional blood pressure monitors from the leading brands on the market: Omron HEM-907, Welch Allyn ProBP, Riester ri-medic, Spengler, ABB and other semi-automatic clinic models. The maximum load capacity is generally 5 to 10 kg, which is more than sufficient for even the heaviest electronic blood pressure monitors. The materials – epoxy-coated steel or aluminium – are resistant to standard disinfection procedures in medical settings.
