Bridge stress test electrodes
Bridge-style exercise ECG electrodes designed for stress tests, with easy removal after the test. Sweat-resistant and quick to remove between patients to optimise clinic workflow.
Bridge-Type Exercise Electrodes – Easy Removal After the Test
Bridge-type exercise test electrodes combine a grip suitable for the demands of exercise ECGs with ease of removal after the test, thanks to their grip tab. They are particularly suitable for cardiology departments where the exercise test is followed by a recovery ECG and rapid removal of the electrodes.
Exercise performance comparable to snap-on electrodes
Despite their specific design, bridge-type exercise electrodes offer performance comparable to snap-on models in terms of adhesion and signal stability. Their sweat-resistant adhesive and stabilised conductive hydrogel ensure a usable ECG trace throughout the test, including during periods of sustained exertion. The adhesive surface is optimised to minimise the risk of detachment whilst ensuring skin comfort during removal.
Quick removal and optimised patient flow
In busy cardiology departments, the speed with which electrodes can be removed after a stress test helps to optimise patient care. The grip tab allows for simple and controlled removal, facilitating the transition to the recovery ECG and the patient’s return to normal. These electrodes are compatible with standard snap-connect stress ECG cables and are selected from manufacturers recognised for their consistent performance, notably 3M, Ambu, Skintact and Comepa.
