MESI mTABLET ABI is an advanced diagnostic system designed to measure ankle-brachial index (ABI) wirelessly and automatically.
This innovative device enables rapid and accurate screening for
peripheral arterial disease (PAD) in adult patients.
Using oscillometric plethysmography technology, the MESI mTABLET ABI performs blood pressure measurements in the arms and ankles to calculate ABI.
The system consists of a wireless medical tablet, four tubeless blood pressure cuff modules, and a 4-port charging station module.
This unique configuration allows for great flexibility of use and increased mobility in a clinical environment. Measurements are performed in two stages: first, a blood pressure measurement in both arms, followed by a simultaneous ABI measurement, taking into account the highest blood pressure in one of the arms and one of the ankles.
The tablet's intuitive user interface guides healthcare professionals through the measurement process, from correct placement of the color-coded cuffs to interpreting the results.
The collected data, including ABI, blood pressure readings, pulse waves, and oscillation graphs, are displayed clearly and in detail on the tablet's screen, facilitating analysis and diagnosis.
